AmCham Congratulates Donald Trump, President-Elect of the United States

(San José, November 6, 2024). The Costa Rican-North American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) congratulates President-elect Donald Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance on the results of the U.S. presidential elections.

The relationship between Costa Rica and the United States is vital for trade, investment, and job creation in our country, with the United States being Costa Rica’s primary trading partner. During President Trump’s previous administration, Costa Rica was recognized as a strategic ally, and we see this as an opportunity to continue advancing nearshoring initiatives and strengthening areas such as tourism, security, and trade between both nations.

AmCham will continue working closely with the U.S. government and private sector to deepen bilateral relations and drive initiatives that benefit both countries and our member companies.
